Honors Young Alumni Fellow Graduate Assistantship

The Young Alumni Fellow (to be filled by a recent graduate of Villanova University) is a one-year position with option for two. The Young Alumni Fellow will focus on course facilitation, mentorship, co-curricular programing, alumni network scaling, and enhancements to the Honors Shaping a Life Initiative, and the Honors Vocare Scholars Program.

The Honors Young Alumni Fellow Graduate Assistantship requires 20 hours per week and supports a graduate student’s tuition along with a stipend. 

Successful Honors Graduate Assistants have had experience working with students, working in an office environment, and supporting undergraduate programming. We encourage applicants to read the position job description, below.

2024 DAN OLPERE MEMORIAL APMM Conference Scholarship

In memory of our late friend and colleague, the Montgomery County Consortium of Communities established the Dan Olpere Memorial Annual Conference Scholarship to foster the next generation of local government professionals by funding their attendance to an annual conference.

In Spring 2024, three scholarships will be available to assist early/mid-career professionals and aspiring public administrators currently enrolled in an accredited graduate level public administration program to attend the annual Association for Pennsylvania Municipal Management (APMM) Conference. If selected, each recipient will receive up to $1,200 to cover the cost of registration, meals, and lodging at the Annual APMM Conference in Bethlehem, PA on May 20-24.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Applicants must be:

  • MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE APPLICANTS
  • STUDENT APPLICANTS

HOW TO APPLY:

Send a copy of your most recent resume and a completed Dan Olpere Memorial APMM Annual Conference Scholarship Application to Tim Hass, Montgomery County Coordinator at thaas@limerickpa.org. The Consortium’s Executive Board will review complete applications and announce the Scholarship recipients at their April 4, 2024 meeting.


Graduate Assistantships and tuition scholarships may be available occasionally (contingent on available funds) in some university offices. Please see the list to determine the eligibility criteria and to whom you should address your application in each department. Spaces are competitive and limited. If you are being considered for a position, you will be contacted directly by the office listed after you apply for a position.
